AI in Education. Learning by Doing. Lessons learned from seven AI pilot projects.
Last year, seven AI pilot projects were organized across various sectors of education, with the NL AIC playing a facilitating role. These pilots were carried out by educational institutions and startups and focused on improving the quality of education through AI applications. Today, we’d like to share the valuable experiences, results, and lessons learned from these pilot projects.
The pilot projects took place in various sectors of education, ranging from elementary schools to universities, and each focused on a unique application of AI. This diversity has provided us with valuable insights into how AI can improve education and the challenges involved. Whether it involves integrating AI tools into the classroom, collaboration between startups and educational institutions, or addressing data, privacy, and security issues, the experiences of the parties involved offer a wealth of information.
Key points:
AI personalizes learning experiences and improves the effectiveness of education.
Successful AI implementation requires collaboration between educational institutions and technology innovators.
Technological and pedagogical support are essential for the adoption of AI in Education.
The practical application of AI tools provides insights into self-regulated learning, personalized recommendations, and interactive knowledge representations.
Teachers share valuable experiences and challenges they face when integrating AI into their teaching practices.
