Consultancy.nl also highlights Alex Crezee’s appointment as a partner at Turner. Read here what Consultancy.nl has to say about Alex’s move.
With the start of the new year, Turner has welcomed a new partner: after leading Turner’s education practice for five years, Alex Crezee has now joined the partnership.
Crezee made the move to Turner from PwC in 2016. “I’ve always been interested in the ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ sides of organizational change,” he says, explaining what attracted him to the firm at the time. “For example, I studied management information systems, but also organizational sciences. When the opportunity arose in 2016 to further expand Turner’s Education practice, it was a perfect fit. At Turner, I recognized that focus on both the hard and soft aspects of change.”
At Turner, Crezee’s interest in organizational change aligns with his passion for Education. “It all starts with Education,” he explains. “It’s a crucial sector for society. If Education is neglected, society deteriorates—I truly believe that. Moreover, it’s incredibly rewarding to work with people who are passionate about Education and research.”
Looking back on the past five years, he is especially proud of his team. “Over the past five years, we’ve helped many vocational schools, colleges, and universities with Strategy Execution. And because we understand educational institutions so well, we’re adding more and more value for our clients. We’re also increasingly working for umbrella organizations, such as the MBO Council, the PO Council, and the VO Council, as well as for the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science. In this way, we serve the entire spectrum of Education and address the issues that truly matter in Education.”
Crezee isn’t just committed to Education as a consultant—he has been teaching the course “Governance & Management Control” at Erasmus University for 23 years. “I really enjoy it. Working with young people is fun and refreshing—students aren’t afraid to ask absolutely anything. Still, I find the most satisfaction in my role as an organizational consultant and working with my team at Turners.”
That’s why I’m joining the partner team now. “I see it as a sign of trust and connection. I want to show my clients and our people that I’m committing to Turner for the long term. I believe in this company, and I think that means you want to invest in it—especially during these exciting times.”
