(Senior) Manager, Financial services

Your Challenge
To strengthen our Financial services practice, we are looking for a Senior Manager.
As a Senior Manager in Financial services, you will lead projects within the financial sector and turn complex challenges into tangible results. Examples of issues include:
- How do we ensure that plan members can count on a reliable pension, even in times of change? We helped a large pension fund recalibrate and implement its strategy, including a future-proof governance model. In this way, we help foster clarity and trust for millions of plan members in a changing pension landscape.
- How do we reconcile social ambition with business realism in strategic decision-making? We structured a bank’s portfolio management in such a way that investments contribute to both social objectives and sound business operations. In this way, we accelerate sustainable financing without losing control.
- How do we ensure that our services remain accessible and reliable—especially when it really counts? At an insurance company, we improved processes so that customers receive assistance more quickly and employees have the freedom to add value. Efficiency and customer focus went hand in hand in this effort.
As a Senior Manager, you serve as a sparring partner for executives, collaborate with professionals at all levels, and drive sustainable change. You effortlessly switch between hard business aspects—such as analyses, business cases, and objectives—and soft aspects—such as Ownership, behavior, and leadership. You stay focused on the question behind the question, while remaining pragmatic enough to drive change. Because we believe that consulting is only valuable if it makes a difference—for our clients and for society.
In addition, you’ll develop innovative proposals, maintain long-term relationships with clients, and secure new projects and accounts.

Your Profile
- You have completed a master's degree at the university level, preferably in Business Administration or a related field.
- You have 5+ years of work experience as an external consultant in Strategy Execution within the Financial services industry.
- You combine substantive solutions with effective change management.
- You are entrepreneurial and have strong business acumen.
- You know how to inspire people to take action through substance, decisiveness, and energy—whether with clients or within a project team.
- You are proficient in AI and use (generative) AI in a targeted and critical manner to develop impactful solutions.
- You know yourself, you know where your strengths lie, and you want to continue growing.
