This service is already available in various cities. You can argue about cyclists speeding through traffic and the working conditions of the delivery drivers. The same goes for the profitability of these companies. Growth is their primary motive, paving the way for the owner\u2019s exit. Incidentally, that can be perfectly fine for a certain phase of a company\u2019s development.     <\/p><p>Whatever we may think of it, it\u2019s here in this modern age. There\u2019s demand. And supply. Or the other way around, in this case. You don\u2019t have to understand it to buy it. Take advantage of it\u2014for example, if you\u2019re out of bouillon cubes for your homemade soup. The Tate (London) is filled with works by this \u201cEnglish Rembrandt.\u201d The exhibition \u201cModern Times\u201d brilliantly illustrates that, at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution, Turner faced a choice: to innovate or to go with the flow. While most visual artists ignored these developments, he infused his work with energy through new techniques and colors. He chose uncharted territory\u2014he chose transition. He painted progress. And he was the embodiment of it! He was proven right. Renowned to this day and far beyond.        <\/p><p>Although I cannot ignore the call of our times, in the tranquility of this summer I have come to the conclusion that nothing has changed. I, of all people\u2026\u2014after guiding and accompanying so many transitions\u2014discover that, at its core, everything remains the same. There will always be war, and peace. Always love. And fear. Problems and solutions. And, in business terms, always profit and loss. I don\u2019t want to normalize or justify anything, but the core remains the same. What does change, however, is the context\u2014the \u201chow.\u201d The application of technology and form. Drones and data, for example, are giving us ever more possibilities, all centered around our core.           <\/p><p>Is the flash delivery service not good, as some claim? Is an owner who prioritizes growth over profit not legitimate? I recall \u201cin a flash\u201d a study I conducted in 2007 on various ownership structures. Private equity had fallen out of favor at that time. The study compared corporate, publicly traded, family-owned, private equity, and public organizations in terms of continuity, measured by returns and satisfaction. Significant differences emerged. Two main conclusions: a) every company gets\u2014or chooses\u2014the owner that suits its current stage, and b) the relationship with that owner makes or breaks progress. In a company, it is above all the <em>company<\/em>\u2014the collective\u2014that matters. A good relationship with the right owner. The title of the report says it all: \u201cIn (a) Good Company\u201d!           <\/p><p> <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c775ecb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c775ecb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Choose your owner<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-15125d0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"15125d0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis research remains relevant today. Startups require a different kind of leadership than public organizations. But above all, they require a very different form of ownership. As an organization, choose the ownership model that fits your current stage. And then follow William Turner\u2019s example. Discover the transition and evolve along with it. The context is changing\u2014change the context.      \n\nI guess I was a little right this summer after all; nothing changes, even though everything\u2019s flying by around us.
