The Faculty of Social Work &#038; Education offers programs such as social work, pedagogy, and teacher education. It also conducts research on topics such as global education and diversity in education. The faculty office is there to support education and research. Nevertheless, teaching and educational support staff feel that things could be organized more efficiently. However\u2014partly due to the high workload\u2014there is little time to reflect on this. It is a vicious cycle that does not bode well for interpersonal relationships.        <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5abc3807 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5abc3807\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\"Services\" on paper<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ea96cf7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1ea96cf7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Hague University of Applied Sciences asked Turner to help break this cycle. In digital workshops, we work with faculty members, their team leaders, and staff from the faculty office to map out the processes. What are these processes actually supposed to achieve? What bottlenecks are standing in the way? By mapping this out together, the shared bottlenecks become immediately apparent. This not only improves the process but also enhances mutual collaboration. We compile the results into a process model: a comprehensive overview of the faculty office\u2019s \u201cservices.\u201d Finally, clarity.       <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-36c69af elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"36c69af\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Zooming in on a bottleneck<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b6376f1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b6376f1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It becomes clear early on that there are many structural problems in the assessment and examination process. This is precisely why this process is so important: after all, a great deal is at stake for students, and there are many legal requirements. That\u2019s why the team is taking a closer look at this process, together with everyone involved\u2014from instructors to administrative staff to program managers. What exactly are the problems? What are the underlying causes of those problems? And\u2014of course\u2014what solutions do we see?        <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2ec7866 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2ec7866\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Many problems turned out to be surprisingly easy to solve, but there were also some more challenging issues. Two of these challenging issues\u2014familiar to many colleges\u2014required extra attention: fraud detection and online testing. Now that we have a clear overview, it\u2019s easier to develop policies.    <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b3a610 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5b3a610\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Reclaiming Time<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0fbcd28 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0fbcd28\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Rob Soeklal, interim manager of the faculty office: <em>&#8220;We spent a lot of time going through all the processes, which placed an extra burden on those involved. But it&#8217;s an investment that will help us all: in return, we&#8217;ll have more efficient and effective processes. And that way, we&#8217;ll be able to better support our students.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column
