Tour de Turner Is Back on Track
Cycling together—it’s allowed again! On Friday, September 10, the 14th edition of our annual corporate cycling event, the Tour de Turner, took place. M Perhaps the premier corporate cycling event. This year’s theme? Back on Track.
Guest Speaker Thomas Dekker
Our guest of the day was former cyclist Thomas Dekker. He was known as the Netherlands’ greatest talent. As one of the best in the world, Thomas had a brilliant career ahead of him. He won the Tirreno–Adriatico in 2006 and the Tour de Romandie in 2007. Two years later, it was revealed that he had used performance-enhancing drugs. Thomas was suspended for two years but made a remarkable comeback in 2011. He remains a high-profile figure—both within and outside the world of cycling.
