Beyond the Hype: The Importance of a Balanced Approach to AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is experiencing a hype, everyone is talking about it. But the application and use of AI are polarizing: the potential benefits and promises are huge, while doomsayers literally predict the end of our civilization. Legislators are taking action and preparing strict laws. What should organizational leaders do?

As Turner, we know better than anyone that the answer to these questions requires a rational and balanced approach that looks beyond just the technology itself. On the one hand, AI is simply a new IT tool that can increase efficiency and effectiveness. On the other hand, we know that it is people who determine success, and people who are fallible.

Turner PrepAIr

To gain a complete and balanced understanding of an organization’s current position on AI, a framework is needed. We have developed this framework and named it PrepAIr. The framework provides insight into various aspects of an organization, including vision, risks and governance, execution capability, etc. and offers an overarching perspective: where do you stand compared to your peers? What can be improved? The framework is explained in high level here.

We offer our PrepAIr organizational scan free of charge for our clients to take the first step in gaining control over AI. Our framework provides initial and clear insights into the extent to which your organization can implement AI responsibly.
