Senior Advisor on Digitalization in Education
Your Challenge
As a Senior Advisor for Digitalization in Education, you will lead complex strategy execution projects in the education sector. Your focus will be on issues aimed at improving the quality and adaptability of Education through greater and smarter use of digitalization. This involves both the digitalization strategy and its actual implementation across processes, systems, structure and governance, and people and culture. You’ll always work with a small team of Turner professionals and in close collaboration with people at all levels of educational institutions.
When interacting with the client and the project team, you are a constructively critical discussion partner who seeks to uncover the question behind the question and is not afraid to suggest interventions. You combine the hard and business-related aspects (objectives, content, analysis, underlying business case) with soft aspects (change management, ownership, behavior, leadership) and provide strong project-based leadership. In doing so, you connect strategic choices, organizational issues, and the day-to-day reality of employees and students.
You’ll work on distinctive value propositions and develop into a thought leader in your specific area of expertise. You’ll build and maintain long-term relationships with (potential) clients. In this way, you’ll help shape Turner Education and your own career.

Your Profile
- You have completed a master's degree program at a university.
- You have 7+ years of work experience as an (external) consultant and/or program manager on projects with a strong analytical and business management foundation within the education sector*.
- You have knowledge and experience with digitization—knowledge of digitization strategies, processes, and systems is required.
- You combine substantive solutions with effective change management.
- You are entrepreneurial, have an inspiring vision, and can contribute to initiatives and proposals for offerings that align with developments and needs in the education sector.
- You are a connector and have a natural ability to bridge the gap between people, strategic decisions, and day-to-day educational practice.
- You are proficient in AI and use (generative) AI in a focused and critical manner as a tool to develop impactful solutions.
- You have high standards, both professionally and personally.
- You know yourself, you know where your strengths lie, and you want to continue to grow.
*Are you well-versed in digitization, though not necessarily in the education sector? For example, because you work on projects and/or programs for the government, an implementing organization, or in the private sector? If so, we’d still love to meet you; you may very well have the knowledge and skills we’re looking for to strengthen our team. And together, we’ll make sure you’re quickly up to speed on the latest developments in Education.
Since the primary language of our clients is predominantly Dutch, fluency in Dutch is a requirement.
