Experienced Innovation and Ecosystems Consultant
Your Challenge
As an Innovation and Ecosystems Consultant, you will lead strategy execution projects for a variety of clients. You will initiate and orchestrate innovation—often within complex public-private ecosystems—by aligning multiple interests, paces, and governance structures. In doing so, you focus both on developing new solutions and forms of collaboration and on implementing and securing these innovations in processes, systems, structures, and among the people in the organization. With creativity, decisiveness, and strong analytical and organizational insight, you provide direction on complex issues and foster Ownership among those responsible for implementing the change. You always work with a lean team of Turner professionals and in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
When working with clients, you’re a constructive and critical discussion partner who seeks to identify the question behind the question, proposes solutions, and takes the initiative to move toward implementation. You combine business management aspects (objectives, content, analysis, underlying business case) with soft skills (change management, Ownership, behavior, leadership) and provide strong project-based leadership. In doing so, you connect strategic choices, organizational issues, and the day-to-day realities of those involved. You know how to motivate people by addressing their individual perspectives.
You’ll work on distinctive value propositions and develop into a thought leader in your specific area of expertise, setting your own direction and focus. You’ll develop and maintain long-term relationships with (potential) clients and independently secure new projects based on your expertise, innovative ideas, and trust.
As part of the innovative Next team, you consistently bring new energy and promote renewal. Coaching, motivating, and inspiring people, as well as fostering team spirit, are key to this.

Your Profile
- You have completed a master's degree at a university.
- You have 5+ years of work experience as an external consultant and/or program manager on projects with a strong analytical and business management foundation focused on ecosystem innovation.
- You know how to translate technological innovations into their impact on business processes and leverage them to accelerate strategic goals.
- You have proven experience in building coalitions and innovative partnerships within ecosystems and have achieved sustainable results through these efforts.
- You combine substantive solutions with effective change management.
- You have an inspiring vision and take the initiative in developing propositions and commercial initiatives in the area of innovation execution.
- You are entrepreneurial and commercially savvy: you build lasting relationships, identify business opportunities, and leverage your expertise and trust to turn them into concrete projects.
- You are proficient in AI and use (generative) AI in a focused and critical manner to develop impactful solutions.
- You have high standards both professionally and personally.
Since the primary language of our clients is predominantly Dutch, fluency in Dutch is a requirement.
