Exploration and Scenarios
To gain a quick and effective understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with organizing the academic year more effectively, we conduct interviews and review internal sources to assess the organization’s willingness to change. We then develop scenarios and test them with all relevant stakeholders.
Strategy and Design Framework
We also share our expertise and experience when formulating a strategy and developing a design framework with clear criteria. Drawing on two extensive previous cases related to the academic year, we advise boards on the direction to take. Based on current scientific insights, we work with the client to develop realistic plans. We then evaluate these plans with an independent, fresh perspective—acting as a “critical friend”—to assess their impact and likelihood of success.
Decision-Making Framework and Assessment
Throughout the process, we assess proposed decisions against the organizational reality and the willingness of employees to support and implement the change. A decision-making framework based on the educational institution’s core values ensures that key design criteria are upheld during the decision-making process.
